(a) SIR is conducted to:

(a) House-to-House Verification
Booth Level Officers (BLOs) visit every household to:

(iii) Mark shifted or dead voters
(b) Correction of Voter Details
Fixes errors in:
(i) Name
(ii) Address
(iii) Photo mismatch
(iv) Age or gender
(c) Deletion of Wrong Entries
