Right to Constitutional Remedies (Article 32) of Constitution of India
Allows citizens to approach the Supreme Court or High Court when any right is violated. (Called the “Heart and Soul” of the Constitution by Dr. Ambedkar.)

Article 32 is one of the most empowering provisions of the Indian Constitution. Often called the “Heart and Soul of the Constitution” by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, this right allows every citizen to directly approach the Supreme Court or High Court if any of their fundamental rights are violated.

This means that no matter who attempts to deny your rights—an individual, institution, or even the government—you have the power to seek immediate justice. Through Article 32, citizens can file writ petitions like habeas corpus, mandamus, prohibition, certiorari, and quo warranto to protect their freedoms and stop unlawful actions.

This right is crucial because it ensures that our rights are not just written on paper—they are enforceable, actionable, and protected by the highest courts in the country. Without Article 32, fundamental rights would lose their real strength.
