Right to Equality (Article 14–18) of Constitution of India
Protects every citizen from discrimination based on religion, caste, gender, place of birth, or race.

The Right to Equality is one of the most powerful protections given to us by the Constitution of India. Under Articles 14 to 18, every Indian citizen is guaranteed equal treatment before the law, no matter what their religion, caste, gender, place of birth, or race may be. This means no authority, institution, or individual has the right to discriminate against you in any form.

These articles ensure equal opportunity in government jobs, abolish untouchability, and prohibit the creation of titles that promote inequality. Most importantly, they remind us that India stands on the principle of fairness and justice for all.

In today’s world, understanding this right is more important than ever. Whether it’s fighting social discrimination, workplace bias, or unfair treatment by authorities, the Right to Equality empowers us to speak up and demand justice. A strong nation can only be built when every citizen is treated with dignity and respect.
